The Mukhyamantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana is announced by the chief minister of the Assam state Mr Shri Hemanta Biswa Sharma The scheme is designed for the state government employees retired government personnel of assam and their dependents Based on this policy medical coverage for up to 5 lakhs would be provided to both retired employees and those currently employed people in the Assam state The Mukhyamantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana resembles the Ayushman Bharat Yojana as it is also a national health insurance scheme, this scheme also provides free hospitalization care. Those who are currently gaining benefits from Ayushman Bharat Yojana cannot apply for Mukhyamantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana scheme.

Objective of Mukhya Mantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana
To give health insurance to government employees and retired ones the Assam government has introduced Mukhyamantri Lok Sevak Arogya Yojana The government employees of the Assam state and the pensioner will get cashless care treatment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Only the permanent residents of Assam state can benefit from the MMLSAY scheme.
- Candidate should be a government employee.
- The benefits the candidate will gain also cover his entire family.
- If the candidate is a retired employee of the government, they are also eligible to apply.
- Individuals who are enrolled in other government programs cannot apply for this scheme.
